21: zack's mom

My first year of university, my rez floor had a broomball team. (If you don’t know what broomball is… broomball is to hockey what stickball is to baseball) One of my buddies stole this stick and named it Zack’s Mom… for the inevitable "I whacked a ball with Zack’s mom" "Zack’s mom is coming home with me tonight" "whose room is Zack’s mom in?" "I’m playing with Zack’s mom" "we can pass Zack’s mom around" "I scored with Zack’s mom yesterday…. twice!"

Eight years later, it’s still funny.
To me, at least.

March Madness

We’re like Malibu Stacy when it comes to March Madness — Bracketology is hard! Instead, it’s an annual tradition at Maple Hoo to cut up the bracket and draw teams from a hat (or bowl). The one leftover team is awaded to Mahmoud. What’s on the line? Bragging rights for a year. We never really keep up on it, and no one ever remember who won, but for one night it’s fun to groan over drawing low seeds with funny-sounding names and to wonder why Boomer always draws the 1 seeds.
